Joint stock company “Siulas” is one of the oldest flax mills in
Lithuania . It was founded in 1928 and is located in the very North of Lituania in the beautiful Astravas palace surroundings. Since its start “Siulas” was in linen bussiness. 400 people are working in our company, which are mainly from our native town Birzai.The production covers the following items – all from linen – linen yarns; linen and half linen fabrics; home textile items like – tablelinen, towels, bedlinen, curtains and garments, which are already known in Lithuanian market as well as outside in
USA ;
Japan ,
France ,
Belgium and more countries, where we are exporting our production.
In 2004 a company became a member of CELC – europien linen textile producers association, and now our all production is marked under labels “Masters of Linen”.
Production is as well certified by ISO 9001:2001 ; ISO 14001 and Oeko-tex 100.
